    Good morning™, schemers!

It’s a complicated three-way dynamic with two unwilling participants.

Jarmam, care to comment on the logic of this story ?

“This is crazy. I think I’ll pass!”

    Thank you for your comments!

He wasn’t with it in the first place. The Green Horned made Jarman doubly sure. But that isn’t his decision.

NEIL WICK ABOUT 16 HOURS AGODick Tracy has appeared 44 days and his name appeared on another 17 days for a total of 61 days of the 158 days so far this year. Bribery appeared or was mentioned 16 days compared to Tracy’s 15 days during the Sawtooth story and Ghost Pepper appeared or was mentioned 33 days compared with Tracy’s 29 days during the Ghost Pepper story.

The strip is about the criminals and Tracy’s efforts to stop them. Without the criminals and their personalities, we’d really have nothing. Tracy tends to come in more in the later parts of the story, after the crime has taken place.

Thanks Neil for taking the time to verify what I suspected;Dick Tracy is rarely in the Dick Tracy strip!

Numbers don’t lie. There are more comments when the Dickster makes one of his rare appearances.

The answer is to spend less time setting up the showdown and more time at the OK corral!

Jarman has called the Green Hornet’s bluff, so the Hornet will have to kill him. Oh wait….

So Jarman is being fought over by two “crooks”… flattering, I suppose…

Today’s Google Doodle is about Georges Méliès (for whom a character and a theme in Dick Tracy was recently named) and it’s the first Doodle in 360° interactive virtual reality.

There is no “pass,” Jarman. In this business, you do your assigned part if you want to stay healthy and even somewhat wealthy. The Green Hornet may not be so death-dealing as some operators, but I’m sure he can find ways to convince you that cooperation is the only safe option.

So, it seems Britt wants to play this out for a a while and snare some bigger fish, or at least point a direction for Tracy and the MCU to follow….

Okay, we got Topper at Jarman’s putting the pressure on. The Green Hornet shows up, wanting a piece of the action. Johnny the Coif hasn’t shown yet, but he said he’d be there, possibly as backup for Topper. Something tells me Sunday is going to have a good hunk of action.

And I still want to see a Dick Tracy & Lizz vs Green Hornet & Red Wasp face-off.

I wondered if Topper cut out on The Hornet. Looks like he did.

Now, I wonder if Lounge Lizard works for Topper or for GH? Probably not GH; he’ll be sneaking up on our hero’s back when suddenly the Red Wasp stings…

So, Jarman has to pay the protection money he owes Topper to the Green Hornet so Topper is protected from the Green Hornet. Jarman is right. This is crazy! Or just bad storytelling.
