So far we’ve met “Flattop” and “The Brow”……who will turn up next???

He feels fine but the faux Dick Tracy got A Ticket To Ride. “Turn me on dead man…”

Someone commented yesterday that Flattop looked like the 1960s version… well, now we have a 50s-60s style office…

Must look for clues…

Wisely avoiding trying to draw pseudo-Dick Tracy’s face…

I wonder how many people who read today’s strip will wonder what that black object on the right-hand side of the desk is!

Wouldnt it be hysterical if this whole thing turned out to be one big cosplay whodunnut and NOBODY is actually dead?

I get that this gives our guest artist a chance to have a blast drawing all sorts of fan-favorite Dick Tracy villains. But, within the context of the strip itself, this is, as a few others have noted, more than a little weird. A club devoted to dressing up as notorious bad guys? I mean, so far we have seen a psychopathic hired killer and a foreign spy who used a torture machine on two young girls to force them to obey his orders. And this isn’t just putting on a costume, either. This is some serious makeup. Tracy should be wondering about these club members, I would think!

How does Tracy know it’s a homocide already. No blood, maybe he just missed his chair! Hmm?

I think I’ve figured it out. The stiff is really Dick Tracy, and our hero is an actor who thinks he’s Chicago’s ace crimestopper.

Fun, fun, fun (’til her daddy takes the T-bird away)! Cosplayer The Brow; squinty-eyed real Dick “I feel fine” Tracy; somewhat stocky dead (presumably) Eugene Roche-as-Tracy.
