“Otto Messmer” was – I believe – The creator of ‘Felix The Cat.’ ✨❤️✨

    Good morning™, cat people!

That’s what Splitface said last time! Tracy and Sam will be careful where they park this time. It seems to me that Splitface and Clybourne have split up for this place of the operation.

Good morning™, bum call receivers !

Why aren’t Tracyville cops using drones ?  One or two of those bad boys buzzing over zoo grounds might show something up before the boys go in. One thing’s for sure Splitmug will be in the area to see his plan go through.

The Messmer Cat House refers to Otto Messmer, longtime illustrator (and possibly creator – see https://www.lambiek.net/artists/m/messmer_o.htm) of Felix the Cat.

Turn himself in? Does Splitface really expect them to believe that he’s on the level about surrendering after all the havoc he’s reaped? That said, I hope our boys don’t buy into his b.s. trap set up…

Well I’m disappointed. For a second there I thought Sheriff Dodd had called and wanted them to meet him out at Miss Mona’s cathouse.

I WAS going to say how much I enjoyed today’s artwork but then I saw no snow accumulation on the tree branches. Bad, very bad.

    LOL!

Just last night, I read something about a tiger that killed and devoured a man who stole his kill.

Meeting at a cat house in the zoo? Why do I feel that this won’t end well?

1-SAM: I’m so bored I can’t play even one more game of Spreadsheet Shenanigans, the computer game that’s fun for all ages.

2-SAM: What say you and me head over to the local cathouse Tracy. You’ve been a little tense since the explosion.

3-TRACY: Sam you numbskull! Nobody goes to the cathouse in the winter. They’ll all be holed up somewhere warm anyway.

SAM: I was holed up with Big Mabel last night.

    TRACY: What?

    SAM: What?

Splitface can’t be dumb enough to think Tracy is dumb enough to fall for this—can he?

Surely, Tracy and Sam will be more alert to possible ambush this time around, right? But Splitface must realize that, too. It’s chess game, with big cats possibly on the board. It’s kinda like the old Mad Magazine “Spy vs. Spy”….
