Um, on February 18th & 19th there was no mention they knew the killer of Rabbit. The body was found in another city, which said it the killing had happened in Tracy-ville. (We won’t ask how they knew that.) Clearly the body had been identified. But we are not told his killer was identified, or his employer (who turns out to have been the same guy: Yeti). In this strip the police know that Rabbit was both employed by Yeti and killed by Yeti. How did they find this out? There was no evidence they knew this a week ago. Let’s imagine Liz found this out while Tracy and Sam were drinking coffee. How in the heck does this tell them Constance is working for Yeti? Another gigantic leap of faith?
