All is going well, Marg. I hope you are doing same.

I forgot to “find it,” so I had to circle back. I won’t even say whether or not I found it.

    Does Burl own a gun?

The sign in our local buffet said, “Take all you want, but eat all you take.” They even had a sign up for awhile that said something about charging you for food left on your plate. I never figured out how they were going to work that out. I believe they are now out of business.

While this is very funny today… it is also, frankly, quite sad. The “shoot me” comment is because of something Joy finds repulsive about the woman she is speaking about. The presumption is that she finds one or more of the following things repulsive about the woman, a) her weight, b) her clothing fashion, c) her hair. The utter pettiness of that sort of comment…. judging another based upon some sort of appearance issue is so utterly shallow. Now, to my point…. it makes me feel so very sad, because Julie hit the mark TOO perfectly…. this sort of mindset is ALL TOO COMMON. Again, it is a great comic today, but ouch, it reminds me of very real problems that occur far too frequently in our society. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Another great part of today’s comic is the “Pudding, Jello, Tapioca” bar. A horrendous, yet LOL idea!

Hello all. Sorry, I haven’t had a chance for the comics, last night or today.

But right now the site says there are 16 comments on Dinette set today, and Finale’s is the only one I can see — the last one, I presume.

I pasted it here so it wouldn’t be lost of others are having this problem.

When I open the page there are no visible comments, just like on 9CL, which has a closed forum.

    Anybody?

Susan, I can’t see any of the comments today in Chrome so I tried using the IE Tab and they all showed up. The comments show on other gocomics pages. Weird, what browser do you use?

Susan, I just arrived and see them all. I also love the Twilight Zone idea and find the pudding etc bar funny- but Burl’s shirt about Joy’s “cooking” (putting Stoffer’s lasagna in her own baking dish or similar). As far as I know, never heard of ANY home cooking from this bunch. The twin is SOO obvious that I wonder what point Julie had …
