Plusssssssss, there is NO way they are going to pony up the 2 bucks apiece to check their coats.

Apparently…. BURL and JOY left their coats in their car…….. saving $2 each….. Judging from the other coats on the rack… It must be pretty cold in Crustwood…. .! ? !

All I can say is…. that must be some coupon!

I hate to even imagine Burl and Joy’s behavior in the sort of restaurant where you pay to check your coat.

Especially one where the rack is full of furs…

They’d be stuffing Joy’s purse with silverwear, and blotting up their spilled cherry Cokes ….(“I wanted to see if ya get real cherries”)… with the table linens.

Meanwhile, pointing at the menu and screeching loudly about “$17 for a few lousy shrimp?!!”

A real class act.

Cap’n, if Burl were only as funny as he thinks he is, he’d be a regular Don Rickles.

And hers is in September.

Good Morning, all! And yes, Leaky (per last night) I’d happily live in sin, even if not as often as I’d like. BF and I had some marvelous meals at the Chez Paul, back before it closed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chez_PaulThanks, Susan for clarifying; as I had said that yesterday I thought Gym Shoe was speaking of HER birthday ;-)

Burl and Joy did not dress up as nicely for this as they did for another place last month (but as the REAL Chez Paul closed back in the ninetys and owners are dead, this is probably some little place that just took the name).

Some are insomniacs, others in a different time zone (I get at least 7-8 hours and sun is just rising now).

Maybe they’re using the coupon they were going to give Dale for his birthday…..then had second thoughts (surprise).

Hawaii is the only place I’ve ever been where it rains, you look up, and the sky is blue.

She wants to check your coats for lice!

That’s $2.00 for the furs. Burl wants to know what the charge is for cotton jackets. Surely, they shouldn’t cost as much to take care of. Cheaper liability too.

Kind of late to day good morning, it is just minutes from noon. So I will just say " Howdy, Crustwoodians!"

And in case you didn’t understand, my daughter insists that everyone attending her party, wear WHITE (I had planned wearing a lovely red dress), but especially for family photos of the wedding, she wants everyone in white (perhaps just because it IS her 3rd wedding). She has one child of each of the 2, all 4 of mine were from my only husband, and I’ll have no more.Husbands or children!

A fancy place like that, and she doesn’t say “May I check your coats?”Tsk!

That’s OK, I take it in the spirit it was given.
