Right…. poor Verl has been wishing so hard for love the wishbone is already stretched to its limits – but it won’t give her a break.

She’s so desperate for “couplehood” she dates Jerry.

She’d dump hm in a hot second for a real marriage proposal…. from almost anything in trousers….. except Mel Gibson.

Of course, Mel is a train wreck.I’d have a hard time marrying him myself, in spite of his millions….though I could probably find it in my heart….

IF, of course, he truly loved me, and promised to stop drinking…And to stay away from other women, drugs, and fights…

And if he convinced me he’s not really antisemitic.

But still, I’d have a hard time hearing his declarations and promises……..over the noise of all those giant pigs flying.

G’mornin’ all! I read #6’s page yesterday and it seemed it was his wish NOT to return (I seldom notice him except about his ‘toon- he seems to read different choices than mine, mostly). I can’t read part of Verl’s shirt after Around the Block, which I’m sure she has been (haven’t we all). .As to Mel Gibson, all those Hollywood types are pretty bad news. On Watch What Happens, when Andy Cohen had Martha Stewart on this week, he put up a list of men for her (none of whom seemed a good choice for ANYONE – well maybe Verl!)

And warm coffee with jello? Does not sound even as appetising as their regular fare.

I think both Verl and Mel are pretty safe. She’s set the bar pretty high and I think he would join a celibate group of monks on a mountaintop if Verl were the only other alternative.

Pay attention to that note on the wall to self.

Lucky for Mel , at least he was in the running. People like Brad Pitt or Larry David probably don’t even stand a chance.

Sadly, I hated to see Mel’s downfall! I used to think he was a “stand-up” guy! But I will still watch the movie “Signs” anytime, anywhere.
