It’s the double-wide Sunday Comic Crustwood….but not much detail to work with today…….! ! !I would have thought BURL would go with Hillery Santorum……and JOY with Donald Obama….. ? ! ?

I think the reporter will lose that part of the tape. The paddy wagon rolled up this morning, and rolled Leaky out in front of his humble abode. I think it must have been a wild week.

Go easy on the Pennys, please! They left their “cheat sheet” on who the candidates are at home, and they haven’t been told for whom to vote yet. Their decision-making closely resembles the concept of putting a hundred monkeys in a room with typewriters etc.Marg, do you think we will be hearing from Leaky about his mission trip? It WAS a mission trip, wasn’t it?Good morning all, I’ve saved so much daylight already I don’t know what to do with it all.

Good morning, Crustwoodians… which is rolling at us faster than I can keep up with, what with the time change.

Poor guy’s gonna need some first aid, cos his head won’t stop spinning.

What scares me is the number of people just like them who can actually vote!

As a voter for many years who has never missed an election, a “precinct officer” (read “election-day flunky”), and a concerned citizen, I believe in the process.

So I really hate to say this….but please, Burl and Joy….on election day,

    just stay home!

Oh, which reminds me – GymShoe — long time in Hawaii. When do you have to come home?

And Marg — if Leaky could only sleep he could sleep it off.

Meanwhile, Mikie — I’ll take some any time!

g-mornin! I really agree that we should have a way to screen out voters who do no research at all on political matters. My first election was Eisenhower. I haven’t missed even a primary since. As to time change- we don’t DO that in Phoenix, so we’re partly in Pacific and partly in Mountain (the main thing is not running around changing clocks on the range, microwave, etc (and I used to have watches of all diferent color gemstones to match outfits). Just one more advantage of living here ;-D

No matter WHAT you do to the clock, we have more sunshine as the warmer weather approaches, and I totally enjoy earlier sunrise and later sunset because my eyesight is fine in daylight. I take my books outdoors to read sans glasses.

They probably think that April 1st is Election Day. Wait a minute, the way things are going, that might be a good idea.

I hope the reporter has some duct tape in his van. He’s gonna need it-either to keep blood from spurting out over their stupidity, or to keep his head from busting open from laughter.

    Verifiable fact.

A radio station reporter went through Harlem, NY and asked the man on the street what they thought about BHO’s choiceof Sarah Palin as a running mate VP and nine out of ten thought it was a brilliant idea.

Crustwood must be home of the only remaining Wags. That was Walgreen’s attempt at a restaurant chain.

@Arch, I just realized talking of mudslinging, I should change my avatar (I used style of this artist for my favorite religious painting of my own). I’ll change to a photo of my little guy.

@arch Stanton & @vidazzle, no, they used to duke it out on the floor of the convention and the best back room dealer won, which sometimes, in Ike’s case, was the best candidate. He was so good the Democrats wanted to run him, but he learned being president wasn’t as easy as storming Normandy on D-Day.

Wiki does not recognise it as related to Walgreens ?? and I never tried one, but pretty sure I heard that some existed.

@Gymshoe, Just looked at my Sprouts receipt: Bananas @ 1.19#. I buy TP and Bounty towels at Albertson or Fry/Kroger same for tissues. I like GreekGods yogurt which is same $3.99 per container everywhere (sometimes 2/$6 at Sprouts on sale).Other produce this week -strawberries 1#/$2.5, Red yams (same as bananas), red bell peppers 49 ea (lovely big ones), jicama .99/#,, organic grape tomatoes 1.99/pint. I also bought a loaf of bread,5# of raw sunflower seed for Fitz as well as red and green grapes (both .97/#) and fresh yellow corn 69/ea which he loves. And a dozen high Omega 3 very large eggs @ 3.29, ricotta cheese, 1/4# sliced roast beef, olive oil, 2 Green & Blacks chocolate, a jar of coconut oil, some frozen fruits because all frozen were 20% off this week and other produce (total almost $83 for me and the bird) but I now shop only every 10-12 days or so. This is first try of coconut oil as sub for butter (which I love) and it is unbelievably yummy on toast!

Well, I like Obama. He’s smart, tries to be a good dad and husband, listens to what people want and gets things done. ’Nuff said.
