So much today. Joy deliberately “pinks” Burl’s undies. Does she think there’s any chance someone other than her will see them—or want to? Then there’s Jerry’s favourite colours. He claims “nude” but would need a Cinemascope lens to accommodate Verla. And then we’re back to boy’s high school with those classic favourites, Golden Rain and Baby Rash Red. JL has given us a veritable cornucopia of (disturbing) images today.True story: We had a break-in here at the house yesterday. Must have been kids. All they took was a bag of almond M&Ms. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Susan I heard from you Weds, if that’s what you meant. Still haven’t heard from Leaky. I hope that all is OK.

Mikie, at least Burl didn’t say ‘baby poop green’.

The only arm candy Jerry could attract would be old half-eaten lifesavers and starlight mints that had been lost in the couch cushions, till he sat down and they stuck to the hair on his arms.

And he only sees nude flesh in the magazines under his bed.Verl undresses in the bathroom and only takes off her robe in total darkness.

His own body is so hairy he can’t see his skin.

Mikie…LOL… I bet those M&M’s are way out in the gulf by now… No fingerprints will ever be found. :)

And thanks from yesterday, to both Dave and Pipe Tobacco. I had… well, I can’t say an early night.. But an earlier than my usual night.

Just to put it out there. Derrick Wood who draws the comic Rogue Symmetry is suffering tendinitis in his right arm. I offered to do a guest drawing for him If you go to his comic today you can see an example of my drawing.

I hope this doesn’t count as spam, but I come on here a lot, I figure it doesn’t hurt to blow my own horn a little. Especially, with people I have come to think of as online friends. Opinions welcomed, encouraged even.

Perhaps Jerry is referring to the current M&M commercial where the brown lady M&M is perceived to be nude. Nah, that would be too current for Julie.I actually bought some Easter grass on sale today at Cost Plus. Used a coupon, too. Perhaps I should move to Crustwood—or at least shop there.

Gosh… so much to answer… so little time…1st — Now another one missing…. where are you Dazz? Hope all is well. 2nd, I checked it out Dave… nice work.3rd, forgot to say last night …. I LOVE Peeps! What’s not to love…. tasty marshmallow, crunchy sugar (like eating at the beach), vile colors… (so much more lurid than they used to be… so I try to buy the white ones…but the purple is pretty irresistible…)But they’ve raised the price till they cost way more per ounce than decent chocolate….so if anybody has Peeps they don’t want….Ok I lost count…. 4th?…the consensus here after some remarks she and Jerry made in one strip, seemed to be that Verl isn’t quite the unsullied innocent we’d assumed.Though it’s possible that neither of them really know how to accomplish their… “goal”… so technically, she is still a…. um… a maiden lady.

Whoa…. three people showed up during my comments…. I’m more magnetic than I thought!Marg! Maybe so….I mean after all… two consenting adults….a full moon….a bottle of gin….Dave — you’re thinking of Cost Plus PLUS, “the store with a little extra extra.”And ElGuapo…. I doubt Crustwood has Cost Plus…. too exotic. So I think you’re safe. And the Pennys wouldn’t buy that stuff till next week or the week after…. for next year.I confess to a touch of that myself…The difference is I might buy the grass on sale, but they’d buy the candy for next year then too.

OH — and if you live near a Cost Plus…I let them bombard me with e-mail (a couple a week sometimes) because some of the deals they send are worth it.They just sent me a $10 gift certificate for my upcoming birthday, for the third year in a row….and I hardly buy anything, so it’s not a “reward.”But if you join the e-mail list, food, even on clearance, does add up for a $10 reward, as well.

(Sorry for the little commercial but some may want to know.)

Susan (and al) I’m fine (although some of the comments gave me a pause). I suddenly have a totally unrelated problem with some tiny parts that fell out of my washer this morning which I just noticed- now that all this stuff is just nylon parts). I bought my Whirlpool set in 1998 and if I must get a new one?? but I may call my regular plumber to see if he does that.

Dazz — Glad you’re OK though!I think little parts are falling off of me these days.I see you went back to “vldazzle”…. and I guess you didn’t run off with Leaky. So what have you done with him?Ooh Dave, I want a Wacom Tablet so muchI almost bought an out-of-date version of the smallest one on clearance…the Bamboo One.Only $40 or so, but very small and it it didn’t have touch sensitivity so I thought I might want to hold out. I havea friend who likes Peeps and choc marshallow bunnies better stale, but I like them very fresh. So our joke is I buy her some on sale after the holiday if I can, but give her ones I saved from the year before!BTW Your comment back to me wasn’t visible to me even after I posted two long comments that now follow it.
