these folks remind me of a 60-years old family tale:my aunt dorothy (retarded) went with my mother to an OB exam. mama came home Furious, because the doc confided to her, that her sister-in-law was a moron. even more furious when daddy started laughing, gently explaining it wasn’t an insult, just a diagnosis. then she got really mad. took a little while to sink in….
Thanks, Mikie! I have to leave for daughther’s house today and spend time there while waiting for all the kids and grandkids to join together for a brief reunion. BF will be with us for the party but we decided he will not stay there (even though grandkids are mostly teens). I’ll still get to be here for the last days of my trip.
