I’m afraid I’m guilty of shreeking NO! when I saw that my lover had high heat back on the pan this morning where I had cooked our bacon. Other teflon pans that are just a little greasy from cooking we put back on for moments with a squirt of dish soap, but I always save bacon fat at home for clam chowder and put in a closed container for the garbage at homes of others (I know he would not use for cooking). He thinks running hot water during and after makes it OK, but I told him that as an HVAC tech he should know better (it IS plumbing-related, even if he does not want to think so). Even if he manages to keep piping inside his house OK, it will cause clogs somewhere down the like by the time it reaches the municipal plants. Just because I’m a R, does NOT mean that I don’t care for environment. That IS why restaurants are required to have grease traps (and many recycle it). I don’t recommend that homeowners take all grease to a restaurant to also be recycled but some communities have centers for that.
Good news for Burl, if he keeps his present work habits, soon he won’t have to bother going in at all.
I use to recycle bacon grease for french toast, pancakes and eggs. Now I mostly use turkey bacon. Most frying is done with spray stuff, olive oil or veg. oil. I also don’t fry near as much as I used too.

Burl is always very casual, about life in general.

While we’re looking for the Find-It, it’s busy looking for Burl….
That’s the guys from work on the phone… they need the key to the office.
They’re not feeling quite as casual as he is…
Nor is the guy who wants to rent a unit…. 20 minutes ago.
Meanwhile… I think maybe Joy finally wore out the Green Blouse with Orange flowers..
Now she’ll wear the PInk Blouse with White Flowers…. rinsing it once a week or so…. till IT shreds.

It’s probably not amazing to anyone how much better the Crustwood U-Stor-It runs when Burl is not there than when he is.

I save bacon drippings.

I wish I was Burl’s boss.
Question, when will the reality show Storage Wars come to U-Stor-it?

I notice they are ignoring the phone as the caller ID probably showed “You Stor-it”
