Burl wouldn’t even KNOW if you changed the channel.
He watches TV with his eyes, not his brain.Like a picture book.It makes no connection to his thought processes…. cos he has none.No connection to his heart or emotions…. just pictures….and if you switch the channel, it’s like looking out the bus window when the scenery changes.
I was wondering about the heart also. I will have to look for the other 2 .. Addiction to TV for them is normal they have no addictions, like eating and watching the neighbors to see if they are better yard keepers.. and annoying others.
When they were younger, heir favorite morning show was that one that came on really early. The one that starred the Indian and had that psychedelic background. Nice color. Not much plot. Didn’t tax their pea brains.
Can’t say much as my TV is always on if I’m awake. The first thing that occurred to me was how long it’s been since I saw a test pattern. (Now even the most obscure channels fill unused time with paid infomercials).
Don’t watch much live TV here…. Almost 100% recorded and all commercials are skipped except Gieco…. the one with the hump day camel is hilarious… ! ! !
I can’t watch tv during the day, I’d sit and watch, and nothing would ever get done. Actually I prefer the quiet. And if I was looking at the tv i would’ve missed the bunny hopping down the flower bed, sprinting across the patio and schooching under the fence!
Final Going out of Business Sale: HA! We have a furniture company here named Haynes, that has massive going out of business clearance sales every 5 years or so, just long enough for all the military types to get transferred around, and all the suckers to forget they stayed in business.
@X, I agree that announcing a sale that is less than 20% off is not worth reading. Right now I’m skipping all the sales in my email because if I read them there WILL be something I’d like (but don’t need). I already spent a bit extra this month on restringing my wind chime (finally sent it) and some “dainties” from another online store.
There are many stores that “Go Out of Business” at least once a year (especially carpet stores and mattresses).

So the Crustwood Mini Mart and Second Hand Store is going out of business. And 5% off. Think I’ll wait for the FInal-final-final sale.

They’re watching a test pattern right now. Been a long time since I’ve seen one of those.

Morning Leaky…. and everybody.
Does the unlabeled heart in the lower left corner signify that other other two, possibly three, hearts in the picture are the Find-It?
That third one, I’m not quite sure about.

How do we know if this is a rerun, we aren’t addicted to Dinette Set, we don’t have to read them and sure don’t bother to remember them.
The only reason I read it is I’m bored, and I wouldn’t care if it was Peanuts reruns or Mary Worth.

Certainly an odd test pattern. Not color bars like those used by all TV stations…
