I remember one year when we went to our local symphony, with free tickets. My husband kept asking where the P.A. gear was, like he was at a rock concert. Love the illegal lighter! Merry Christmas to all and to all a great day.
BURL.. Just enjoy the music and enjoy our freedom of religion without fear… there are those who would take this freedom away in a second if they could… .! ! ! So Merry Christmas, Seasons Greetings and Happy Holidays to all…! ! ! …..and especially our military personnel….
Someone expressed surprise that they would attend a concert, but they saw that magic word – Free!
Naturally they don’t know how to behave . . . anywhere. And they’re in the front row because they arrived extra early and. . .because most people were home with family (or still out shopping, since stores never know when to close).
Now if the Pennys had already joined the 21st century by now, Burl would be holding up cell phone. Of course THAT would cost money and after all they have a perfectly working land line at home, so what would be the point of owning a cell phone? And they just couldn’t be bothered to learn how to operate such a newfangled device.

I think Burl has ear plugs so he can’t hear the women yacking through the concert.
They do that you know, nothing to say on the trip there but get a seat then the mouth runs.
I know some like that, I am guilty sometimes but not every time.
