When I saw the back of the antimacassar on Joy’s chair, I thought, for one surreal moment, that the Penny’s were making a totally out-of-character political statement.
Something not only inconsistent with their personalities and beliefs, but the only even halfway political comment I’ve ever seen in this strip……well, except for some not unexpected hints that Burl and Joy will vote for whoever provides the best hot dogs at a rally, or promises to fill a pothole on their street.Anyway…. I read it again….and no…. ………sigh ….
it’s just one of Julie’s ordinary misspellings, couple with a “t” that looks like an “r.”
