If this is about the milkman, then let me tell you about my co-worker, Dave:

“You know,” Dave was telling his buddies, “I’m a lucky man. I never realized how much my wife loved me until the other day when I had to stay home sick from work.”

“What did she do?” someone asked.

“She was so happy to have me home,” he said, “that every time someone came to the door, like the milkman or postman, she’d shout, ‘My husbands home! My husband’s home!’

When you spend the bulk of your day in recliners, the clock on the wall is hung at eye level. (Don’t look in the bathroom.)

I might otherwise frown on this, but then, it’s Joy whose “man” is Jerry. And the milkman has distinct advantages. For instance, he can be relied upon to come at least once a week. And any time she wants something special, she can just leave a note. “Mooooo for me, Baby.”
