That one is right up there with those I’ve seen who donate damaged or worn items of clothing to charities and thrift stores and say, “That’s okay. They have people there who can fix ‘em. That’s what they train ’em for”. Sheesh.
At least for large items the Salvation Army is very picky they will refuse to accept items that are not in readily salable condition-for example will only accept TVs < 10 years old.
