I know these strips are reruns (RIP Julie). O.K., the book’s ALWAYS a good idea if you know you’re going to be waiting for your turn at whatever it is…..alas, THESE days almost everyone in the place is looking at their smart phones. Not books. And certainly NOT each other.

There’s a fried chicken restaurant we go to. Waiting in line outside is part of the experience, it can be an hour or more. The fact that you can order cocktails outside while waiting provides a social lubricant.

Amazing how many people read nothing beyond social media sites. Love my e-reader, can take it anywhere.
