Loved the story, Doc! We’ve just adopted a pair of kittens (cell mates, tho not brothers) who already have propensity for pouncing on each other whilst the other is sleeping. I love it when their rough and tumble meets the kitchen floor. It’s astounding how far a fur ball can slide.
Picture this…3 pound Pekinese running full speed the length of a single wide trailer in a wild frenzy… 20 pound tabby perched on the arm of the couch when suddenly a loud squall and the tabby is riding the Pekinese through the trailer! I never laughed so hard in my life.
arrrrrghhhh! my comment yesterday about not being able to tell the difference between the fat capitalist and the fat farmer was NOT about present day situations…..I guess I was too subtle. that was a parody of the last line of the George Orwell book, ‘Animal Farm’
imagine the first part, with one kitty. Seriously he wakes up, pounces nothing and runs from it for a few minutes, that was my roommate"s cat, talk about a psycho kitty.
I’m not a cat or dog person myself (but enjoy those of friends) and I always enjoy Brian’s drawings of Sophie and the cats. Very realistic! I tried to draw a strip with the antics of Cuddles Cockatoo back when I got my first home PC.
That Disney software crashed my system – had a strange issue, because I could install and use a quick test on 2 other PCs (of friends).

The Force can have a strong influence on the weak minded.

Of course, this begs the question of just WHAT Sophie was going to DO with the Fur-Ball!

Sophie got off easy. Unlike dogs, on the back is not a submissive posture for cats.

Sophie got off lucky. A certain cat I know would have scratched up her stomach and face.

That’s exactly what this is based on. Except it’s our new pup playing with the cats.

Love the daft half hours. We humans become mere pieces of furniture to be used as launch pads.
