No, he’s been hanging with Labs and their relatives. When I was (very) young we had a golden retriever. We also had a neighbor who kept chickens, even though he wasn’t supposed to have ‘em in a residential area. The chickens would get out of their coop and fly over the fence into our back yard. (Chickens can fly, just not very far or very well) The dog would chase them, grab them, kill them, and bring them to us; he was a very good retriever. The neighbor would complain, and my father would point out that as the dog never went over the fence after the birds, if the neighbor kept his illegal birds on his side of the fence they’d be fine. The neighbor shut up and made the fence taller. The chickens flew over it anyway.
