The test is to place your hand on various areas of the animal and feel for warm areas (don’t get silly now). Some dogs have little to no hair on their bellies. Those areas lose heat easily in cold.
Think of what it would feel like to you walking around on a freezing morning with your pants down around your knees. Along with the embarrassment and difficulty in walking, you’d be COLD. Them too. Please be smart and aware pet owners.
