Mark: You know, that ol' mayor turned out to be a pretty nice fellow - I spent all last evening with him....he took me to his house and gave me a home-cooked dinner. Then we sat around drinking wine, talking in Italian about the old country. Then, finally he signed me up as an honorary member of the Philadelphia Italian anti-defamation league. All of which is no mean feat for a Jewish boy.
