Rev. Sloan: Zonker, I finally decided to ask Joanie for a date... Zonker: Yeah, Mike told me. Personally, I think dating is a waste of time... Rev. Sloan: Well, I'm not so sure, Zonk. I gave up dating right after the McCarthy hearings - I guess I was pretty excited by Ike and civil rights and just couldn't and the time. But things are different now, Zonker! We've been beset by hard and lonely times! The current administration is so very unresponsive to protest that my work is no longer fulfilling at all! I tell you, Richard Nixon is enough to drive a man to heavy dating! Zonker: No Rev, don't cop out!
