Dick: Lacey, did you notice how nice Richard Smythe was to us lasat night? Lacey: Funny, wasn't it? In the old days, rich dismissed us as the aimless dandy with his dizzy flapper! Dick: And now here you are, a respected member of the House of Representatives! Lacey: And you, Dick, a distinguished amateur ornithologist, of no small repute! Yet we must guard against smugness, Dick Davenport, as unkind as our peers might have been! It's tempting, but too easy, to just thumb our noses at our former classmates! Dick: Yeah... fortunately, a lot of them are dead. Lacey: I know, but I just wouldn't want to ever be that way!
