Mark: Coming up next, a talk with mellow expert Dan Asher.... an interview in step with your new, natural life-style! We're back, with us today on "Profiles on Parade" is Dr. Dan Asher, author of the best-selling paperback, "Mellow: How to Get It." Man: For sure, Mark. Mark: Dan, tell us, what are some of the things a person interested in a mellow life-style should know? Man: I hear you, Mark. As it happens, that's a question I can really get behind! To begin with, mellow means a really good pair of jogging shoes! Absolute necessity! After that, go with the flow, whether it's ESP or astrology or cooking lessons! And if you flash on a jacuzzi, get into it! Mark: Hmmm... mellow sounds like it could be pretty expensive, Dan... Man: Not true, Mark! A common misconception! Actually, I know several mellow people who are on fixed incomes! It just requires knowing where to cut corners! Mark: What sort of corners, Dan? Man: Well, take charities! Now I can relate to causes as much as anyone, but you'd be surprised how much you can save simply by cutting your annual gift to the United Fund or local boys' club by half! Mark: I never thought of that... Man: Well, little things like that add up! Before you know it, you've saved enough for a good food processor!
Not mellow: straining to read the blurry, badly made reproductions of the Sunday strips!
