Joanie: C'mon, Rick, go to sleep. It's almost two. Rick: I can't, Joanie. I'm just too nervous about my interview with Halberstam tomorrow. Joanie: Nervous? What for? Rick: I dunno. I guess it's just a little intimidating. All the journalists he writes about are so much larger than lif! They're all so awesome and brilliant and willful, big powerful men, encrusted with virtue, each keeping a "rendezvous with history"! Joanie: Maybe you should pick up some Brut. Rick: Rendezvous with history! I don't even own an engagement book!
