David, all I've got is a 30-day contract a the "Post," a 5 x 5 cubicle, and a modest reputation for getting my facts straight! Influence is not the same thing as power, David. In terms of making decisions that directly affect lives, the lowliest bureaucrat has more power than I do! I mean, I hate to burst your bubble, but... Halberstam: "He was ungodly modest.
