Roland: Henry Kissinger's "The Whitewash Years" is no ordinary book. Nor is "Time" promoting it like one. Bill Wooten, "Time" marketing director, explains. Man: Well, we started slow. Of course, we ran the usual semi-annual Kissinger profiles, reports on the work-in-progress, a few mentions in our "People" section. Then this summer, we poured it on!
