Roland: This is Roland Hedley. It was shortly after dusk when the media event first swept through the small Hoosier hamlet of Rosewater... members of the Rosewater G.O.P. caucus had just cast the first ballot in a presidential straw poll. Caucus member Al Fender explains what happened next. Man: It was awful. The hot lights, the cameras. Some of us tried to stay off the record, but it was hopeless we were forced to stand by helplessly as our remarks were blown all out of proportion! Roland: And the poll results? Man: Stripped of their context! Right there in front of our families!
