Rick: ... and I think your mother has prepared a big roast beef with sweet potatoes! J.J: Sounds gross. Got any unsalted nuts? What's for dinner, Mom? Joanie: Roast beef, of course! My Christmas specialty, remember? J.J: Oh, Mom, not roast beef! You know what that does to the arteries. Rick: Arteries? Joanie: My daughter is of the vegetarian persuasion. J.J: Have you ever seen a steer slaughtered, Rick? Rick: Uh... no, I've been meaning to, but... Joanie: Dear, if you don't want to eat roast beef, I've made plenty of salad. J.J: Sure, but you never buy organically grown! You always go to the supermarket where... Joanie: Where I choose to! And don't use that superior tone of voice with me, young lady! J.J: You don't have to get so defensive, mother. If you want to poison yourself, it's okay with me! Joanie: I wasn't aware I needed your permission! Listen, Joan, this is MY house and what I serve here is MY business! J.J: I suppose you're in favor of nukes, too! Rick: Yes, that would follow. Joanie: You stay out of this, Richard!
