Man: And as the President indicated so masterfully at his press conference, that is the full extent of White House involvement in the Billy Carter matter. I'm sorry we have nothing more explosive to report. But the truth of the matter is that the escapades of an errant relative have never been top priority at the White House. Frankly, Mr. Chairman, we're a little embarassed for you. With all the problems facing the country, a lot of people are wondering why nine U.S. Senators have been devoting their full energies to such a trivial affair. Voice: Uh.. I didn't ask to be on this Committee. I haven't even been paying attention. Voice: Me neither. I've been signing letters.
