Bernie: "Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of cytoplasm and pour into nutrients. Bake for nine months." Mike: Your project's on embryonic development? Bernie, what do you know about embryonic development? Bernie: Well, not a lot. But enough to test the Illmensee-Hopps cloning findings. Mike: The what? Bernie: In fact, I've moved a little beyond them. It seems I have a plan for micromanipulation. Also, I found a great donor. I'm working on a copy of Zonker! Mike: A copy of Zonker? Are you crazy? Bernie: Don't worry. I'm using all the proper safeguards. If it looks like the genetic material has been compromised at all, I'll simply shut down the incubator! Mike: Bernie, are you sure you've thought this through? Bernie: Of course I have, Michael! Are you questioning my integrity? Mike: Bernie, what makes you think the world is ready for two Zonkers? You can't just tinker with life like that! It raises too many profoundly disturbing quesions! Voice: He's right, man. The moral implications alone are staggering. Bernie: You stay out of this! Mike: Besides, who's going to pick up after him?
