Judge: Henry, seeing how you're a first-time offender, I'm going to suspend your sentence - on one condition! D.A.: The state strongly objects, your honor! Judge: I want you to volunteer to work one day a week on the county road crew until they finish that highway that goes up past Ed Turner's place. D.A.: Your honor! Judge: Okay, what day would be good for you? Henry: Well, Mondays I gotta come into town anyway. D.A.: Your honor, this is an outrage! This man violated his trust! Judge: I can't concentrate with all this racket. Henry: Will you pipe down and let him finish sentencing me!
