Mark: Dan, one of the most fascinating chapters of your book is entitled "Quality Time." I wonder if you could explain the quality time concept to us. Dan: For sure, Mark. Quality time is the kind of time you spend with your kids if you're really too pressed to give them the more traditional quantity time! By giving a child quality time, that is, highly concentrated dosages of focused attention, the busy parent can shave valuable hours off the time required required to impact his child's development. Mark: So quality time is basically a time-saver. Dan: Right. It works with old people, too, by the way.
