Roland: Okay, sir, we're ready! Just be yourself! George Bush: Uh...okay...like this? Is this okay? Am I being myself yet? Roland: Um...almost! Let's try it again, sir. The White House cabinet room. The inner sanctum of the upper reaches, closed to all-until now! Let's take a live peek...good morning, Mr. President! George Bush: Roland! You look well! Roland: So do you sir! May we come in? George Bush: Please do! I was just making some tough calls! Roland: Welcome to consensus city! I'm Roland Hedley, and this is "30 Minutes in the life of the White House, Live." George Bush: We were just going over today's agenda! What's next, boys? Man: An array of critical policy decisions that will affect this country well into the next century, Mr. President! George Bush: Great! Let me at 'em! I knew we're going to take some heat on some of these. But, hey, that's what I'm paid for! Being President isn't a popularity contest! Roland: George Bush, caught in the act of being hiimself. George Bush: Whoa! The camera's still here? Man: You shouldn't let your guard down like that, sir.
