Mark: "Someone in the family called Nancy to ask if she could contribute so we could buy a headstone for (her grandmother's) grave, but Nancy said she couldn't afford it. Ronnie was making $150,000 a year then." "The Davises' physician phoned Nancy to say her parents needed a nurse for weekends. 'Nancy said,"Are you willing to pay for it?" If you want to put a nurse on, then you'll have to pay for it" "The wife of an agent recalled trying to give her a report on various nursing homes, but Nancy cut her off. 'Just tell me which is the cheapest. After all, it's just Ronnie's mother!" Zonker: Could you hold the fort? I gotta call home... Mark: No! Don't leave me here alone with this!
