Ted (on TV): Roland, as you look at yesterday's results, what can you say about the field now? Will it be changing? Roland: Well, Ted, the conventional wisdom hasn't come down to breakfast yet, but certainly some of the campaigns have something to celebrate this morning, whereas others do not. There's a strong sense here that three of the candidates did better than expected, one met expectations, and three did worse than they expected. But better than was expected of them! Ted: So all of this was expected? Roland: No, actually, Ted, it took us completely by surprise.
