Roland: Peter, although Perot is working feverishly to put together a package of positions, it's by no means cetain that he needs one...Perot is good at transforming liabilities into assets, just as Jerry Brown has redefined hypocrisy as "evolution" and "personal growth"...Perot has stigmatized positions as something that politicians have! Up until now, he's been able to market his ignorance as political purity. Peter: So standing for something could queer his popularity? Roland: Right. Of course, Perot's a risk-taker.
