I've been so many things - a middle kingdom mid-wife, a Babylonian astronomer, a holy Roman empress, a leper in Fin-de-Siecle Marakesh... Last night, I was trying to figure out what they had in common, what connected them to the divine spark of my higher self. Suddenly, it hit me... Each of them always tried to look her best! B.D.: That's one plucky leper.
