Lawyer: Mr. Slocum, did there come a time when you realized the full seriousness of your unfair grade? Slocum: Yes, there did. I was being interviewed for law school when the guy looked at my transcript. He got this big smile and then completely broke up. It was a royal dis! Lawyer: And as you saw your dream of a legal education go down the drain, you were devastated, right? Totally shattered? Slocum: I was pretty bummed, yeah. Lawyer: It's okay to cry, son. Remember? Slocum: Oh, right. hold on. I gotta flash to my dog dying.
