Mr. Butts: So I ask the speaker, "what's the deal? I thought you people were going to contain product liability!" Bomb/Gingrich: Keep your shirt on! Mr. Butts: ... he admonishes me. Bomb/Gingrich: We're getting to it as fast as we can! The problem is the lawyers-- they hate reform! Take the Florida suit, where the state is trying to recover $1.4 billion in medical costs... know how much the lawyers get if they win? $350 million! That's why they're taking on tobacco!
