Mike: Bernie, what on earth have you done to your office? Bernie: Like it? It was inspired by yours. I was trying to recapture the entrepreneurial spirit, the audacious, risk-taking feel of the garage start-up! Let me show you around...We removed all the cubicles and encouraged people to park indoors, then we hung tools and garden equipment everywhere. We even hired a team of on-demand "moms" to bring unlimited fluffnutters and cokes to our coders. Mom: Here you go, dear! Bernie: Basically, it's a return to our roots. We think it's been a huge success. Mike: Um...how can you tell? Bernie: Easy - everyone's gone back to putting in insane hours.
