Much has been made recently of U.S. envoy Larry Lawrence, the war hero wannabe now planted in Arlington, but at least Lawrence wanted to be associated with military service! Unlike, say, Rush Limbaugh, Pat Buchanan and Newt Gingrich, all of whom spent the Vietnam war ducking military service! Man: It coulda happened! Mark: Even better! It did happen!
These days there’s another name to stick at the head of that list.
