Mark: Okay, time again for that liberal-conservative tit-for-tat thing that Chase and I do! Tonight's topic - Newt Gingrich's trip to the pork barrel! Recently the speaker larded up the defense budget with $503 million worth of C-130-J trasport planes that the Air Force did not ask for and does not want! Let me repeat that - the Air Force doesn't want 'em! They don't need C-130-J's and they don't want the expense of maintaining them! So why is the speaker forcing aircraft on the Pentagon? Get ready to be shocked - the planes are made near Newt's district! The C-130-J's only have one mission - to airlift a half-billion dollars of taxpayer money back to Georgia! This is nothing but a redistribution of wealth - a handout to Gingrich's district! It's welfare! It's a fligth from responsibility, it's the worst kind of liberal excess, of...of... wait a minute. Chase: I think I'll yield my time to you.
