Alice: Anyway, I was wondering how Lacey was. I haven't seen her in the park lately. Jeremy: She's been bed-bound, Alice. Last month she developed cancer. Alice: Oh, no...not that, too... Jeremy: Supposedly, at her age, multiple afflictions are common, but I'll tell you, I was shocked! I mean, here I am, dealing with one horrible disease when suddenly I'm hit with another! It's been totally overwhelming - a complete nightmare! Alice: Um...so the prognosis? Jeremy: Oh, I'll be fine. But it's hard.
