Of course, if someone comes along with a smart search engine, one that actually works, those companies evaporate overnight. Mike: So it is risky. Bernie: Well, sure, but by then you own the mariners.

Well, that was prescient. I wonder if the Google founders got the idea from this strip?

Nah, they were already in the process of starting to do this when this came out if I recall my dates correctly.
