Bernie: Piling up new losses, I trust, Mike? Mike: Yes, it's all going according to plan. Bernie: Excellent! Mike: So you want to go see the Sonics tonight, Bern? Bernie: Gee, I'd love to, Mike, but I'm about to leave for Ghana. Mike: Ghana? What for? Bernie: Point of honor. A couple of months ago, I added "dot com" to the company name. Naturally our stock price doubled. Within a week, our market cap exceeded $11.5 billion, which as you may know, is the gross domestic product of Honduras. Ever since, whenever the company's market value blows past some nation's GDP, I try to visit it, as a gesture of personal humility. Mike: Much appreciated, I'm sure. Bernie: I dunno - I'm a little queasy about going to France.
I wonder if they do this at Google.
