Who's going to want to do business with me now? Bernie: Are you kidding me? Mike, if you had lost a few hundred K on a local business, then you'd have the stink of death...but you lost $50 million of other people's money! That makes you bold, a player! In today's economy, nothing succeeds like big-time failure! Look at the chairman of amazon.com! He lost $350 million last year, and he was Time's man of the year! Mike: Wow... that's right...you...you really think I'm a promising failure? Bernie: Promising? You're a huge failure! You should be flying!
And now Amazon is worth over a trillion dollars.
