John McCain: So, yes, the attack ads were wrong. I made a mistake. It's not my first. Roland: Senator McCain, you always seem at pains to demonstrate humility. John McCain: Well, I've got a lot to be humble about, Roland. Roland: Like what? John McCain: Well, for starters, my fellow senators think I'm pious and hard to work with. Roland: Why would that be, senator? John McCain: Because they're in the pockets of the special iterests, and I point that out. Most of my colleagues are gutless wonders - totally corrupt. Rick: Um...so how would you work with them as president? John McCain: Well, first I'd apologize for calling them corrupt. That was a mistake. Roland: Wow...more of that humility!
