Mark: " 'I will work to end terrors and tarriffs,' said Bush..." sigh. I can't believe I'm still covering Bushes. If you're just joining us, we're honored today to be talking to former president George Bush... President Bush, when you look at your son's campaign, and you see him surrounded by Dick Cheney and Colin Powell and all your former advisors...and you see him trying to prove himself to you late in life, and you add in his need to avenge '92, well, it sure gets complicated, doesn't it? George Bush: Won't comment there. Wouldn't be prudent. Not my bag, this nutty, nitty, ditty, don't cry for me, Gail Sheehy, Freud city thing! Suffice it, Bar and I always proud of the boy, he had the heartbeat, the whole pulse thing...we think Jeb's going to make a marvelous oval office guy! Mark: Uh...Jeb? George Bush: Shouldn't say that. Sounds braggy. Can't help it.
