Dick Cheney from inside white house: Sir, when I told Senator Leahy to go "f---" himself, it felt great, very cathartic... from now on, I intend to use far more robust language than I have. When I speak out in the future, I'm letting the SOBs know exactly how I feel! George W. Bush from inside white house: Oh... you mean, on Howard Stern's show or something? Cheney: No, no, I'll keep it on the senate floor.
And this after the GOP tried to promote themselves as the party of Family Values, especially following Clinton’s indiscretions. And Cheney was so proud of himself, just as depicted here, for publicly using decidedly non-FV language.
